Agreed, allow a more thorough template. I also think it would be important to give RBTs access to that information to see what they and others have entered. We used to see the cumulative entries on paper with hypothesized functions. Also, just like there are default prompt codes, it would be helpful for the agency to have the ability to list out default A and C options to save time with the setup.

Agreed. I've tried adjusting the settings on Catalyst to "track data by session" which had the benefit of clearing the thermomenter (and fyi the RBT can clear thermometer manually when logging in). However the unintended consequence of recording by session was that it MESSED UP FREQUENCY DATA. For some reason all the raw frequency data got lumped together. Some of the behaviors graphed were negative numbers ( the RBT tried to delete accidental button pushes) but I couldn't manually remove a single entry from a day. Catalyst needs to focus on giving RBTs feedback on the data they are entering to support goals. Similarly, for entering ABC data the information just disappears, they don't even get a receipt of what they entered. Allow the app to inform the RBT of how the data they enter is important and impacting treatment.

I support the idea of having easier access to a printout of all graphs that are opened, including maintenance and behaviors. At first I used [Analysis and Reporting] ->[Progress Notes] -> (+) ->[Catatlyst Progress Report, enter range] -> [Generate]. It's not exactly the most obvious way to see all the graphs at once. Then I went through the process of having Catalyst support make a new progress report for our agency to get the maintenance included in that report. This is just once example of how cumbersome it is to access the data being collected by the app. We should be able to view all the graphs more easily to get an overview of the whole program.

Datafinch suggest our agency purchase Alcatel tablets but it turns out it is not compatible with Catalyst and the display is completely warped. Our RBT have to switch diplay sizes when changing from the login pin screeen to data entry screen. Usually the smallest size is most compatible. However just like a phone, surely the user should have the ability to zoom in to view things. If we send documents to the mobile devices, such as a behavior plan, it would need to be size 14 font to have a chance at being visible on the fixed display. It seems the Catalyst app is far behind the times with user-friendly interfaces. When the basic functions of reading a screen don't work, what hope is there for more advanced features?

I agree. As a supervisor using the portal, it is challenging to see all the data collection in one glance. Catalyst tends to create unnecessary categories and hierarchies which increases the effort to view all at once. It seems like downloading a SOAP note is the best way to see what the RBT worked on. However it doesn't show the proportion of remaining work they DIDN'T work on, such as did they run sufficient trials? Did they run maintenance? Help a supervisor out.

There are some features supposedly designed for taking inter-observer agreement data but nothing is as simple as just looking over at the clipboard of another person entering data on paper. The portal buries features and so users are likely to default to simple features that we know to work, such as hitting refresh and having multiple tabs open at the same time. It seems like the best way to review all the data entered by an RBT is to generate a SOAP note.

Yes, autosave would be helpful. Catalyst boots us out from our work frequently as doesn't remember where we left off. This creates a lot of friction with using this service. At our agency the satisfaction is LOW with Catalyst. After 5 years of providing feedback it seems little has changed.

Yes! Staff need to open up the BIP in the documents tab, so a way to better present key pointers within the day-to-day functioning of taking data would be less effortful for staff.
(E.g., take behavior data and have the BIP in the same area).
